StepGo ("the App") is a free step counter and health tracking app. This policy explains what data is collected and how it is used.
The App collects the following data, which stays on your device:
This data is stored locally on your device and is never sent to any server.
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect:
All ad data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
On iOS 14 and later, the App will ask for your permission before accessing your advertising identifier. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
The App reads step count, walking/running distance, and active energy burned from Apple HealthKit. This data is used solely to display your activity statistics within the app. We do not store, share, or transmit your health data to any third party.
The App uses CoreMotion (pedometer) to provide real-time step counting. This data is processed locally on your device and is not shared externally.
The App stores your preferences, goals, achievements, and XP progress locally on your device using UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
